I can't believe that I still have such a hoarse throat! I can't speak above a whisper! How's that for a good teaching voice? :) Anyway, It sounds like things went ok today in class.
Stephanie gave you your homework which is to brainstorm for your Classification Essay. You should have your brainstorming on paper and an outline for tomorrow. Your outline should have a thesis statement, topic sentences and supporting details and examples that can be seen as words and phrases. Your completed outline should look like an outline with points A. B. and C.
I might add more to this post later tonight if I am able to talk with Stephanie. Tomorrow in class, you will check your outlines and then tomorrow night you will write your first drafts.
Wednesday, we will go to the lab to finish our first drafts and print. Does that sound possible?
By the way, those of you who have not gotten started with your blogs, be sure to do that as soon as you can! You can look at the guidelines in the blog archive which I posted in yesterday's homework assignment.
